Personal Philosophy:

“Life happens in Relationship. As relational beings, people are meant to be deeply involved and connected with others. Connected people tend to be happier, healthier and generally more satisfied and content with their lives. Within the context of relational connectedness, problems seem less burdensome, difficulties seem more manageable and life has a generally harmonious rhythm and flow.

Real life, however, has a way of interrupting our sense of connectedness. Interpersonal issues such as marital conflict, loss, addiction, infidelity, separation, divorce, abuse, trauma, familial discord, employment disputes and spiritual confusion can leave us feeling anything but connected and harmonious. Disconnection and relational isolation can leave us feeling hopeless and alone.

That’s why my personal philosophy of life is built on hope and possibility. As a relational specialist, systemic consultant and conflict dispute strategist, I know relational connectedness and relational healing are not only possible…they are possible for you! My desire to help people build strong and satisfying relationships with themselves, with others and with the God of their understanding is the foundation of my personal philosophy and the orientation of my therapeutic and professional work ethic. I believe in hope…I believe in possibilities… and…I believe in you!”

Family, Hobbies & Interests:

Teresa and her husband Paul live on the Westside of Indianapolis and attend worships services locally.  She is the proud mother of six children (five sons and one daughter), two stepsons, and eight grandchildren.  She and Paul’s four legged family members include Max a rather grumpy old Schnauzer and a bouncy, 4.5 lb. Yorkie named Marley.

Teresa is an avid reader and life-long learner who isn’t quite happy unless she is enrolled in a class, studying a new subject or exploring a new concept.  In her spare time, Teresa enjoys several activities including: needle crafts, reading, home design, photography and trying out new recipes.  Her idea of a perfect day is a leisurely trip to Brown County with her husband Paul, a mug of Hom from the Daily Grind and a friendly game of who took the best photo.
